This proceeding deals with various attacks and exploitations P2P networks have to cope with. In the last few years BitTorrent became famous for spreading big amounts of data to many people in a short time. BitTorrent will therefore be the main focus of this work. متن کاملA Comparison of Two Paradigms for Distributed Shared Memory
This paper compares two paradigms for Distributed Shared Memory on loosely coupled computing systems: the shared data-object model as used in Orca, a programming language specially designed for loosely coupled computing systems and the Shared Virtual Memory model. For both paradigms two systems are described, one using only point-to-point messages, the other using broadcasting as well. The two ...
متن کاملThe computation of Gröbner bases on a shared memory multiprocessor
The principal result described in this report is the design and implementation of a parallel version of Buchberger's algorithm. Its correctness is stated and some experimental results are given. The first parts are devoted to a partial review of Grobner bases, of Buchberger's algorithm which computes them, and of some of their applications.
